PPF for Personal Vehicles
Investing in a personal car is no small endeavor. As such, many car owners want their vehicle to look and feel good for years to come. Getting a paint protection film is a fantastic way to do just that! Protect that attractive paint job with an invisible protection film that will eat scratches and small dents leaving your car completely scratch free underneath. In a few years, a PPF can easily be replaced if damages accumulate, or removed if you want to resell. Maintain the aesthetic, the value, and the overall condition of your personal vehicle with an affordable paint protection film!
3 Main Benefits to Paint Protection Film
Protection against the environment
Between rocks, road debris, insects, and bird poop, your car is in constant danger from the simple environment around it. Paint protection film provides a layer of protection between your vehicle and those dangers keeping your paint looking as good as new.
Preserve an aesthetic
Just sitting still in the sun will cause premature fading for an unprotected vehicle. Avoid sun spots, scratches, swirl marks, and other blemishes from everyday wear and tear with a simple PPF.
A worthy cost-effective investment
PPF is an affordable way to achieve protection and guard against expensive paint repairs. Keep your car looking brand new for years to come, and get your PPF replaced when the time comes to maintain that fresh look.
Ceramic Coating versus Paint Protection Film
Ceramic coating provides a glossy layer of protection around your car that makes cleaning easier. Ceramic serves as a basic package for sealing in your car. Meanwhile, paint protection film goes the extra mile, providing that same protection for your vehicle while using self-healing technology to battle against the scratches and dinks that would accumulate on ceramic. What’s more, PPF prevents oxidation and provides an invisible finish that can further enable whatever aesthetic you’re going for, going the extra mile to protect your car.
How to Prepare for an Appointment
Some important things to note: do NOT wax or ceramic coat your car prior to your PPF appointment. Wax and/or ceramic coating must be applied after PPF as they interfere with the installation process. Also, let your installer know if you recently repainted your vehicle as the paint will need to fully cure for about a month prior to PPF installation.

The damages your PPF is exposed to will ultimately dictate its longevity. In general, it’s understood that PPF will last anywhere from 5 to 10 years before needing replacement. Replacement is easy, though, so your vehicle is never exposed.
Installation time largely boils down to how much of your vehicle you want covered. For smaller coverage, the film can be applied in 1 or 2 days whereas full car coverage may take up to a week.

For best results and longevity, opting for a more gentle hand cleaning is the best practice for maintaining a great PPF. Other methods can be harsh on a protective film, which over time can prematurely eat away at your protection.
