Controlling Energy Costs

Commercial window tints go a long way towards controlling and standardizing the indoor climate of your business. By reducing the amount of sun penetrating through, tinted windows avoid drastic temperature changes that are usually countered by expensive heating/cooling units. Getting commercial window tints will make a more standard, comfortable work atmosphere that will save dollars down the line.

Stop Productivity-Hindering Glare

Little can be more destructive to an employee’s focus at work than a nasty glare. When you can’t see your screen anymore or need to squint so hard that it hurts because the sun is hitting your screen just right, how is one expected to be fully productive? The introduction of commercial window tinting will drastically curb the glare effect that can be generated with the sun peeking through windows. Especially depending on the angle the sun enters the windows, having commercial window tinting may make all the difference.

Reduce Interior Fading

Sun that is constantly streaming into an office through windows will inevitably cause premature fading of everything it touches. From paint on the walls to furniture to screens, UV rays coming through windows cause damage to anything exposed to them over a prolonged time period. Save your assets inside and keep the office looking in tip top shape with some commercial window tinting.

Depending on the product you choose, how well it’s installed, and the conditions the tint is exposed to, commercial window tints can last about 5 years, if not longer. Savings from window tinting in energy costs will vary depending on the situation, but in general, estimates are that commercial window tinting can save you up to 50 percent in cooling costs as the heat gains can be reduced by up to 80 percent in the commercial space.

Besides reducing hot spots, commercial window tints work both ways by insulating the windows and reducing heat loss. This keeps a space more temperature-stable during the summer and winter.
